The Operations Manager at Kenya Marine Center overseas daily facility tasks, manages aquarium or packaging teams, and local inventory logs. Based in Kikambala, Kilifi County, this role coordinates the logistical workflow of exporting tropical marine livestock while tracking fundamental company expenditures.

Job Duties

• Daily Operations: Manage the safe handling, holding, and global shipping of marine livestock.
• Basic Accounting: Monitor daily facility expenses, balance supply receipts, and log resource costs.
• Logistics Control: Coordinate export schedules to ensure timely international transport deliveries.
• Quality Standards: Maintain biological facility upkeep and strict export safety regulations.

Job Requirements

• Accounting Skills: Practical knowledge of basic bookkeeping, invoicing, and budget tracking.
• Location Presence: Able to work reliably at the Kikambala Facility.
• Core Strengths: Strong communication skills, strong ability to multitask, problem-solving abilities, and high attention to detail.
• 2+ years of experience in a similar role and comfort working with multiple groups within business.

Compensation & Details

Salary Range: KES 15,000 – KES 30,000 per month.
