- Salinity: 1.020-1.026 SG
- Ammonia & Nitrites: 0 ppm (sensitive to poor water quality)
- Nitrates: Below 20 ppm
Tank Setup:
- Live rock formations for hiding and perching
- Open swimming space to accommodate its movement
- Moderate water flow to maintain oxygenation
- Secure lid to prevent jumping
Tank Mates:
- Compatible with larger, non-aggressive fish
- Avoid small fish and shrimp, as they may be eaten
- Not suitable for highly aggressive or fin-nipping species
Diet & Feeding:
- Carnivorous; requires live or frozen meaty foods (shrimp, squid, fish)
- Can be trained to eat prepared foods
