Size & Lifespan:
- Adult Size: Up to 8 inches (20 cm)
- Lifespan: 10–15 years with proper care
Behavior & Tank Mates:
- Semi-aggressive—can be territorial, especially towards other angelfish.
- Best kept alone or with large, semi-aggressive tank mates like tangs, triggerfish, and large wrasses.
- Not reef-safe—will nip at corals, sponges, and invertebrates.
Diet & Feeding:
- Omnivorous—requires a balanced diet of:
- Sponges & tunicates (essential for health, found in angelfish-specific foods)
- Mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, and krill
- Marine algae & seaweed
- High-quality pellets & flakes enriched with vitamins
- Feed 2–3 times daily to maintain health and vibrant coloration.
